Snughouls: A Cryptid Collection

The wait is killing me and we only have another $400 to go, so I thought why not post the next backers choice poll! 😜

The caterpillar and beetle where SO close that I couldn't possibly pick between the two, so I added both as future unlockables! 🥰 Thank you all so much for your input!

Here's some concept art for the two of them. They aren't meant to represent a single species, but rather an amalgam of what makes each critter especially cool!

I was hoping to have some real life photos of grub friend by now, but as it turns out he'll need another round of adjustments before he's 100% ready to go. BUT the weekend felt like a perfect time to introduce these things so I'm gonna do it anyway!



With this update we introduce two new add-ons! Grub friend, Rotwell's faithful bug companion in un-death who also doubles as an adorable keychain if you want him to, and a pack of fun, plush bandage accessories. These will be designed to fit all careweres, although the specifics are still up in the air as I have yet to begin prototyping.

(Also we've hit the 235k funding goal which means free stickers, yay!!!)

In all of the fun and chaos of the first week, I completely forgot to mention we BLAZED through the tote bag achievement so everyone who backed at a plushie tier will be receiving a custom bag with their order!

Here are the preliminary mockups-- obviously very rough, and colors will likely change depending on the manufacturer and what is possible, but I'm excited nevertheless! 

I've also added some additional achievements I have no doubt we'll reach, and have a few more up my sleeve I'll share this weekend 😜 See you in the next update critters!
