First of I'd like to apologize for springing these changes on everyone unannounced-- I realize that's a little unfair and the last thing I want to do is make folks feel unheard after all the support they've given this endeavor!

Unfortunately I think it boils down to working on a scale and timeline I'm still a little unused to. Many of the new designs you see were thought up on the fly to keep up with the crazy pace of the campaign, so they didn't go through the many week (and sometimes months) revision process that all of the existing prototypes went through.

Now that things have slowed down I have time to breathe, revise, and address a few things that had begun to bug me for one reason or another. One of the biggest complaints I received about the Luna Mothman, for example, was that it didn't actually resemble a luna moth and I agreed. That lead me to adjusting the color palette and spending more time on the belly badge design to come up with something that both matched the new palette and would look better as a physical plush.

All of this to say, I don't make these changes lightly(and don't have any more planned) but I also don't want to send something into production that I'm not 100% satisfied with.

In the interest of fairness though, I do think a poll is a good idea so I've tried to come up with a design that meets everyone somewhere in the middle!

I realize these changes won't satisfy everyone and again I apologize. In the future I won't release half-realized designs without explicitly stating that they are likely to change. Thank you all for being kind and open to discussion though!

Good morning critters!!

It has been a MONTH. One that has felt both long and short at times, and was jam packed with excitement at every turn. I really can't believe how incredible the response to the careweres was this time around, and I'm honored by the trust and joy everyone has shared with me throughout 💖

Now I'm gonna get right down to business and let you know what to expect in the immediate future!

Today

I've reached out to BackerKit about the payment processing delays. As far as I know right now this is pretty standard for large campaigns, but I would like a concrete answer and I know you all would appreciate that as well.

When I have a response I'll be sure to make another update!

This Weekend

I'm currently in the process of finishing up the preorder store. Almost everything is completed as I type this, I just need to set up shipping profiles for our international friends and update a few item thumbnails and then it will be good to go!

Again I'll make an update when it opens, which I expect to be sometime this weekend.
